(noun, SLANG) An enthusiastic expression of recognition, respect, or gratitude. 

EXAMPLE: While accepting the award, the employee said he wanted to give a shout-out for his colleagues who always were willing to help him.

在领奖时，这位员工表示他要对一直愿意帮助他的同事深表感谢。

EXAMPLE: After several failed attempts previously, I quit smoking for good last year.
