    有鉴于此，WeatherBill使用一种算法计算该风险，并在线销售针对意外天气的保险。

    WeatherBill的拳头产品名为全面天气保险（Total Weather Insurance），这是针对美国农场主每个季度可能面临的不利天气状况，推出的业界第一份四季天气保险计划。这样一来，美国农业在政府提供补助的作物保险之外，又多了一份来自私营经济领域的补充保险可供选择。

    日前，谷歌投资（Google Ventures）对WeatherBill进行了投资。

    WeatherBill目前的投资者还包括NEA、Index Ventures、Allen & Company、Atomico、First Round Capital和Code Advisors。
