1. Sally Jewell, REI Recreational Equipment, Inc. -- you know it as REI -- has a CEO who truly lives her company's ethos. Sally Jewell is an avid mountain-climber, skier, snowboarder, and kayaker. Jewell, 55, spent three weeks this year hiking in Antarctica. And in February, she served as a true representative for Mother Nature when she introduced President Obama at the White House for a talk on the America's Great Outdoors Initiative. |
