All Things D (All Things D);科技博客TechCrunch (TechCrunch)】 * 据科技博客TechCrunch报道,雅虎(Yahoo)公司正在悄悄地物色首席执行官的继任者。
* Hulu is considering a possible sale after receiving a takeover offer from an unspecified bidder. As a result, the company's board is looking at its options and may reach out to other companies and private equity firms that have wanted to buy it in the past. (New York Times) * Bloomberg reports that a new iPhone, sporting the same A5 processor in the iPad 2 and an 8-megapixel camera, will launch in September to coincide with the release of Apple's iOS 5 mobile operating system. (Bloomberg via Fortune) * Meet Lytro, a Mountain View-based startup that's developed a camera that among other features, removes the need for users to manually focus or even use autofocus. Instead, users can adjust the focus on any thing in the image once it's loaded onto a computer or phone. If Lytro sounds innovative to you, you're not alone. So far, it's raised $50 million from the likes of Greylock Partners and Andreessen Horowitz. (All Things D and TechCrunch) * TechCrunch reports that Yahoo is quietly looking for CEO replacements. One of those candidates may include Fox Digital Chief Jon Miller, who has reportedly had "early and unofficial" discussions with the company board. (TechCrunch) * Will Nokia launch its first Windows-loaded phone on October 26? That's what some, including PC Magazine's Sascha Segan, are saying given the Nokia World conference is scheduled to kick off on that date and the time frame neatly matches up with a possible uploading of the latest Windows Phone 7 update, "Mango."
