巴顿现身广告大片

    为了打造吉普汽车(Jeep)在2012年橄榄球超级杯(Super Bowl)期间的广告大片,克莱斯勒的营销奇才奥利维尔•弗朗索瓦将他的艾米纳姆(Eminem,上个世纪末涌现出的白人rap音乐代表——译注)的视频“底特律制造”片段和珍妮佛•罗佩兹的菲亚特500广告片“引擎盖上的杰妮”("Jenny in the hood")的精华糅为一体。他运用电脑生成的图像,在片中刻画了由演员乔治•斯科特扮演的乔治•巴顿将军。将军登上一辆牧马人(Wrangler),驶上了罗宾汉之路(Rubicon Trail,位于美国加州Sieera Nevada山脉北部,是世界上最有名的四驱车越野地之一——译注)。不过与真正的巴顿将军不同,当吉普发生滚翻时,这位由计算机生成的巴顿被TSA强制防倾杆(TSA-mandated roll bar)救回了一命。

    For a Jeep ad to run in the 2012 Super Bowl, Chrysler marketing whiz Olivier Francois combines elements of his Eminem "Made in Detroit" spot and the J.Lo "Jenny in the hood" Fiat 500 commercial. Using computer-generated imagery, he depicts General George Patton, as played by actor George C. Scott, climbing into a Wrangler and setting off on the Rubicon Trail. But unlike the real Patton, CGI Patton is saved by his TSA-mandated roll bar when his Jeep flips over.
