    CODA是一款中国生产、美国组装的电动汽车。喜欢CODA的人已经等得太久了。CODA公司2009年时曾表示这款电动车将于2010年秋天上市。然而到了2010年秋天，上市时间被推迟到了2011年下半年。此后它又表示希望到2012年四月前建立经销商网络。不过由于从中国运来的零部件出现破损，这一计划不得不再次推迟。直到今年5月22日，CODA才终于将第一辆车交给一家租车公司。不过零售客户可能很难买到这辆车。因为CODA在美国只有四个经销商，而且全部在加州。等不及的消费者可以付99美元的订金等待下一个批次。

    It has been another long wait for followers of CODA, a China-engineered EV assembled in the U.S. The company said in 2009 it would launch in the fall of 2010. Then in November 2010, it delayed until the second half of 2011. After that, it said it hoped to have cars in dealerships by April 2012 -- only to be delayed again by damaged parts coming in from China. Finally on May 22, CODA delivered its first car to a fleet customer. But retail customers may have a hard time finding one. The car has just four dealers -- all in California. Those who can't wait are advised to hold a place for a future delivery with a $99 reservation.
