(adjective) Unspoken, but implied.

EXAMPLE: We knew we had our manager’s tacit approval to purchase what we needed to do our job properly.

(IDIOM) Extremely stubborn, determined, and unyielding. (NOTE: often used in reference to someone’s negotiation style)
