The Young Turk While studying at Harvard Business School, Demet Mutlu, 30, dreamed of launching an e-commerce site in Turkey (New York –born Mutlu is a citizen of Turkey and the U.S.) that would make fashion accessible to the masses. Last year she launched Trendyol, a shopping site with its own fashion line. Trendyol gets 12 million visitors a month and recently won funding from Tiger Global and Kleiner Perkins- the venture firm’s first-ever bet in Turkey. |
