The Opportunist Sue Chen is capitalizing on aging but vain baby boomers with a line of stylish canes and other ambulatory offerings. Chen, 41, launched Nova Ortho-Med in 1993 and in 1995 introduced the voyager, the first red four-wheeled walker in America. Last year the company’s revenue reached $24.7million-and with the first boomers turning 65 this year, her company is poised to grow even more. |
